We are working with other U of A Alumni chapters in North Carolina to request License Plates from the State with the University of Alabama logo on them! We are very close -- 264 applications so far -- but we need to get to 300. Order yours today, and tell your Bama Fan Friends! To order yours: 1. Pay online here for you standard or personalized tag: To pay by check, please mail payment to: Other Details: Any application for the University of Alabama official N.C. license plate may be cancelled before we reach the 250th application. Once we have 250 applications, the North Carolina DMV will start the manufacturing process, which includes the art work provide by the University of Alabama Alumni Office. For cancellations within the time allowed, please contact Paul Rencibia at (919) 210-6477. Once the 300 applications have been received and approved, they will be given to the North Carolina DMV for final processing. DMV told us that it will take them approximately 6 weeks to mass produce the license plates and ship them out. The Division of Motor Vehicles will mail the license plates to everyone that ordered one.
