We will continue to watch football games each Saturday in the fall at Bailey's Sports Grille at 8500 Pineville-Matthews Road (that's NC Highway 51 in the same shopping center as Nakato's Japanese Steak House). Please visit this page if you are interested in joining the Charlotte Alabama Alumni. The Annual Fall Season Kick-off Cookout is scheduled for August 13. Details will be posted as they become available. Hickory Tavern We no longer watch games at Hickory Tavern. They suddenly and without warning changed their corporate policy on supporting local alumni groups. Even though we consistently brought in 50 to 100 people to watch Bama games, they declined to guarantee showing our games -- even after previously agreeing to do so. Our new meeting place every Saturday game day is Bailey's Sports Grille, located at 8500 Pineville-Matthews Road. |
